And I ask you....what could have happened in 8 months?

So a good friend of mine emailed me her new blog this morning. And I thought...hmm, I should connect it to mine. Sadly, I had to go find out what the address for mine was since it has yet again been 8 months since I last logged in and updated. And really, what could happen in 8 months anyways?

Chase had his 3rd birthday in August. Melissa, my sister, got married in October. And the Hamilton got news that #2 was on the way! We are only 6 weeks away from welcoming a new sister for Chase, Miss Peyton.

In lieu of this, I have updated the page to reflect our now soon to be family of four! And maybe, just maybe, I will remember to get some pictures to upload on my next post. No promises of course. :)

It's been 9 months...so what's happened?

Lord, I was reminded tonight that I have not updated this family blog in 9 months. Yes, 9 months. I am not sure anyone will even see this. I mean, if you didn't see a new post in 9 months, would you keep coming back? I will go ahead and blame work. Between the security on our servers (not allowing us to even access Facebook) and the fact that my USB ports are disactivated...yep can't download pictures, maintaining a family blog is near impossible. I will post some new pictures, that someone has emailed me, for now and try desperately to at least update this once a month. (Once a week may be possible for awhile beyond that I would just be lying to you!)

Happy Birthday Chase!

I am still working on the backlog of pictures I have stored but I must not skip over a very important day. Chase turned 2 on August 31st! We celebrated with family and he was spoiled rotten! (His friends party is in a couple of weeks...yes, 2 years old. What will happen when he is 16?!)

Reptiles at the zoo

Back in July (yes, we are that far backlogged) while I was off work for a week, we went to the zoo. Mimi came with us. At first Chase wanted nothing to do with the zoo but as time went on...and we went to the water park...he seemed to warm up. Just in time to get up close and personal with some reptiles!

We're back!

It took some time but we are finally back online. New job meant new laptop which meant downloading the software to get pics off the camera. And you say, what is the big deal? Nothing really...just can't seem to find the time with the crazy two year old running around.

So new pics of Chase for the family and friends who visit here! I have a bunch stocked up so some of these may be a little dated but eventually we will get caught up. Here is Mr. Chase himself...ready to take to the road.

Meet my cousin, Bryce

After spending the morning spoiling Todd, going to lunch and hanging at the pool, we all went to Todd's parents to celebrate Father's Day. I am desperately trying to get a good picture of Chase and his cousin Bryce but alas, 18 months difference in age seems HUGE right now. To get both of them to look at the camera at the same time is, well, impossible!

New toy: Water table!

Chase and I got to spend some quality time together on Saturday so what did we do? Shopped, of course! I bought him a new water table. Since we don't seem to be getting to the pool like I hoped, I figured this was the next best thing. (Later that same day we actually did end up at the pool. It looks like I may have a water baby on my hands!)
