Finally, a weekend at home

We finally, after two weeks of travelling, had a weekend at home. It was great to be able to play with our own toys, sleep in and get caught up with things at the house. Since we didn't have a whole lot going on, no new pictures from the weekend. However, here are a couple from our weekend in Cleveland.

As promised, I will include some pics of Chase from the lake two weekends ago. We had a blast the past two weekends but it is officially time to take a break this weekend. Looking to go to the pool and hang out at home!

The first one is of Chase and Famous Amois' dog Sammy. Can you see the fear?! The next ones are of Aunt Melissa trying on silly hats in the store. I am still finding glitter from that sparkle hat.

Back from Cleveland

Chase and I are back from Cleveland. It was a great 3 days but I am exhausted. Travelling with an almost 2 year old without daddy wore me out. Grandma and Grandpa were thrilled to see Chase as were "Aunt Mis" and Matt. Even Emma and Corey got in the action.

Having trouble adding pictures today to the blog. I will try back in a little bit and update this.

Off to the land of Cleve...

Chase and I are off to Cleveland this weekend to visit the family. Should be a good time if we can both survive the 5 hour car ride together. I feel sure the Wiggles and Backyardigan songs will be burned in my brain!

So pics from the lake and weekend with the grandparents should be up next week.

Back from the lake

We made it back from a long weekend at the lake. 13 adults and 4 kids = tons of fun and NO SLEEP. Chase and I weren't feeling all that hot on Friday before we left. The weekend seemed to be good for Chase but has proved to be brutal for me. Here I sit at work with my allergies acting up and a cough that won't seem to quit.

I was lazy yesterday so I won't be posting any pics today. I have to download them from the camera. And sadly, all the good photo ops, aka Chase in his life jacket on the boat, we squashed since I left my camera back at the house. Yes, mommy of the year award right here!

Day #2...and another post

Day #2 of my renewed love of blogging is here! I have been inspired by others to try and keep this up. As I stated in early 2007, I can't make promises but I am going to try. I know family likes to see how Chase is doing.


We are leaving for the lake tonight after work so it will be a couple of days before I post again. I will not disappear again, just will be back next week. Hopefully with fun new pics of Chase and some of his friends. Here is one of Chase and his friend Sam he will see this weekend. They look like they could be brothers. (Sam is one year older)
